I am increasingly convinced that tribalism and racism are simply the natural human mindset. Whites who are self-effacing and open to the point of having no sense of self-preservation are an anomaly, and it took decades of indoctrination to make them that way. But most black Americans, as far as I can tell, dislike all other races and it has little to do with anything political or historical. They are just that way, and no institution in America is dedicated to changing them. Indeed, our entertainment industry and our media seem devoted to encouraging that dislike. And the soil is fertile, and eager for the seeds.
Only whites are to be changed. Asians can continue to dislike anyone outside of their particular group (I had a Korean colleague who gave me a brief, dispassionate rundown of the Asian pecking order... I think it went Japanese-South Korean-Chinese-alltheothers...) Latinos, from what I can tell, care about Latino concerns, and little else. And blacks pretty much despise everyone who isn't black. It's just human nature. Racist whites are simply normal. It's not the ideal attitude for a multi-cultural society, of course, and we as a country were better off when everyone was being encouraged to get over it and tolerate each other, but right now, only whites are encouraged to shun racism, and all the others are encouraged to hate whites. What's going to happen when Latinos and Asians finally realize that to blacks, they are white, I don't know.

Not to mention the way she brought up his race to him before calling the police, making it clear she intended to use his race in what she believed would get the police on her side.
Typical leftist assumed the police would be bigoted against the black man and assumed he would feel the same way and back down.
I wish we knew what happened next. I haven't heard. Did the police actually show up? Were they both still there? What happened next?
The police showed up and made no arrests. Supposedly the birdwatcher had already left at that point. I think they found Ms Cooper there but wouldn’t take a report.
