The summits rotate from country to country each year. They cost a fortune in security and logistics and are basically photo ops. A quick video conference would be just as good but the argument is it won’t have the same feel or something. If the coronavirus sinks them forever it would be one hell of a silver lining.
Well gosh, I would think that a meeting of world leaders would be a great idea at this time, at a time of a world-wide crisis. /s ... sort of ...
