It was also a crushing blow when Maddow was forced to admit, in court, that she was an entertainer and not a news reporter. She basically admitted that her show was no more real than professional wrestling. From that point on, any person with at least 2 active brain cells should realize that she isn’t worth diddly squat for news reliability.

While many knew that already, her imbecile viewers didn't until that came out in court.

However, like all forms of communications, the information does not stop at the first person. Often that person spreads it along (especially in SOCIAL MEDIA). Of course like the old game of TELEPHONE each time the “facts” are repeated the story gets more corrupt.
That is one thing, the other is more insidious. And that is when the main stream media wants to protect themselves they will quote another source. Something like, “MSNBC is reporting that President Trump sucks his thumb”.
Another use for MSNBC is to quickly get out the DNC’s talking points.
PRESIDENT TRUMP, TEAR GAS, CHURCH, PHOTO OP
There is not need for a digital or paper trail but the message is sent and received.
Within hours all you are hearing is the same talking points.
So MSNBC’s rating could only be in the thousands they will remain on the air, because those thousands are the front line troops of the DNC.
