You are right. What I listed are the traditional reasons to select a VP candidate. With a lack of national name recognition and a “state” already in their column, she would seem to bring none of the traditional benefits.
Therefore, she would only be on the ticket for identity politics, nothing else.
I still feel like Hillary will force her ass into the picture at the last minute as their candidate. We haven’t seen her for awhile, so you KNOW she is having major work done on herself. And by being the last minute candidate, so won’t have to campaign or debate Trump.
