Gov. Philip D. Murphy called the counterprotesters’ actions “repugnant.”

“We won’t let the actions of a few distract from our progress toward dismantling systemic racism,” Mr. Murphy said in a statement.

So the state, acting as the state, punishes its employee for exercising his First Amendment rights. So much for all the protestations from the left and from the officials of the state of New Jersey about the sacredness of the right to protest.

Evidently, that right applies only if you are on the right side of the issue.

Please note, the suspended employee is not even alleged to have "taunted [or] tried to upset the protesters", he is simply accused of being "among the group" accused of doing so.

Evidently, the concept of collective guilt is alive and well as an official state policy in New Jersey.

The Hillary Clinton version of and equal protection of the law thrives in the state of New Jersey.

The constitution gives everyone the right to be obnoxious sure. But we as decent folk don't usually do that.
There are much better ways to take action against the race scam and to push back. Counter protests are fine. Kneeling on necks reenactment not so great.
