By saying “Take back your city NOW. If you don’t do it, I will”, he is forcing them to eventually take action and prove he was right all along. By doing this he is gaining votes.

I never said I wouldn’t be voting for him but I think I know how John Q. Public votes. And Trump often says things and doesn’t back them up making him appear weak. I’ll allow you to prove me wrong. I say these thugs are staying there well into the future. You say Trump forced Seattle officials to take action. So when will this action to remove them take place?
