Imagine there’s no Beatles. It’s easy if you try.

I quote John Lennon, “I don’t believe in Beatles, I just believe in me.” Good point there. After all, he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. I’d still have to bum rides off people.

Well
perhaps that's not so.

Imagine theres no Beatles. Its easy if you try. I know, I know we cannot just listen to recordings of people with whom we agree politically. One great past FReeper put up a meme of the one LP we can listen to: Charlton Heston Reads the Bible. I saw that LP at a used record store here--they used it as a decoration on the wall.
But I refuse to accept that dirty anti-semite Roger Waters of Pink Floyd ("Israel is illegitimate and on occupied Arab land.") and Neil Young who spews hatred of President Trump every day or two. Probably too drunk and drugged out to form a sentence the other days.
And I remember this vividly: NME Magazine: Aug 30, 2016 - Watch Paul McCartney perform at a private fundraiser for Hillary Clinton. The Beatle also apparently danced with the US Presidential candidate ...
He also put his arms around Hillary and gave her a full embrace, to her delight.
Holding down my breakfast--barely.

Its obvious that the Beatles should be punished too. After all, they made the place famous. They glorified it. I demand that every Beatles recording be collected, and then destroyed.
Oh, and since Im about as woke as you can get, I have already destroyed my own Beatles collection. Onward the Revolution!

"But I refuse to accept that dirty anti-semite Roger Waters of Pink Floyd..." Waters is a POS. I'm sure David Gilmour probably also tilts way left, but for the most part he's been able to shut up and sing. I think Gilmour, by far, is the more talented of the two.

Just say that it's no longer named for James Penny, but instead it's named for the coin.

Just do what King County (Seattle) did, just say it’s now named after Martin Luther King. I’m sure they can find some black guy named “Penny” they can name it after.
