Two senior executives at the US Congress-funded Voice of America resigned this week after a controversial ally of US President Donald Trump was confirmed as the new chief executive of the agency that oversees the media outlet, as well as Radio Free Asia and Voice of Europe.
In another instance of Trump appointing a political loyalist for a nonpolitical job, the conservative activist and filmmaker Michael Pack was confirmed last week as the new head of the US Agency for Global Media (USAGM), an agency independent of the US government responsible for taxpayer-funded news outlets.
This came after a partisan-split vote in the US Senate, almost three years after his name was first put forward by Trump.

There is no such thing as a non political government job.
I get the distinct idea from this article that only leftists are nonpartisan. Kind of hideous just on the surface. I expect the people I vote for to remove leftists and replace them with conservatives. There’s nothing controversial about it. The left does it when they win. Reminds me of the wimps that have no political philosophy when they call for bi-partisanship or non-partisanship just so someone’s feelings don’t get hurt.
If NPR can be Nationalist demonicRAT Radio and PBS can be demonicRAT Broadcasing Service, it only seems fair VOA becomes VOT. Still two against one.

I, for one sure hope so.
I hate NPR. Merely abolishing these abominations is not enough. Everyone who has been associated with them needs to be either deported or jailed for life. (I only say that because impaling on a stake is prohibited by the Constitution.)
What a coinkidink! I just finished reading a book about the McCarthy Era (70 years ago) and VOM was a prime example of a Taxpayer-Funded government agency that had been infiltrated by communists.
That book was quite an eye-opener.
