A woman was arrested Thursday after allegedly stealing clothes during looting incidents last month and selling the items online, officials said.
Amanda Van Duyse, 30, was arrested on suspicion of grand theft, burglary, and burglary during a state of emergency, according to the Santa Monica Police Department. She was identified through surveillance video from a Patagonia store, officials said.
Detectives found that she was selling stolen items from the store on OfferUp and Poshmark websites. They then served a search warrant at her Los Angeles home and found thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise allegedly stolen from Santa Monica businesses, according to the department.
Duyse was arrested Thursday morning, officials said, but was released later that afternoon on $100,000 bail.
Police were able to recover a large quantity of clothing taken from the Patagonia store.

I guess she is part Japanese... $100,000 bail...I guess if you pay $10,000 to the bail bondsman you could get out of jail until the court date...

Sounds like an entrepreneur or at least someone who takes a bad situation and makes it pay off for her.
How different than to be a sitting ‘lawmaker’ and your husbands company manages leases on post offices buildings and she sits on committees?
Or have your husband be involved in the ‘Military Exchange System’ and the wife sits on committees.
Or have your husband on the board of a Tuna conglamorate and a minimum wage goes into effect but doesn’t apply to where your husband’s company operates?

Or the Governors wife gets appointed to the BOARD of major companies in the state or one builds a college library or locker room to ensure your dumb kid gets in
