democrats desperately want the hatred, rioting and violence to continue. They are motivated to see it go on. They profit from it. To wit: Chuck Schumer Blocks GOP Measure to Condemn Defunding PoliceSenate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) blocked a measure sponsored by Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Tom Cotton (R-AR) to condemn Democrat measures to defund police departments across the country. Cruz and Cotton tried to pass the resolution to condemn measures to defund the police by unanimous consent; however, Schumer denied the Republicans’ move to gain unanimous consent. Cotton said that Schumer “must want to defund the police.” Cruz said:...

Twitter video at link. Michigan Democratic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib's claim that Detroit Police Department officers abused peaceful protesters is "totally inaccurate," Detroit Police Chief James Craig remarked Tuesday. ~snip~ "I know that the congresswoman is making claims that they were peacefully marching when we intersected and intentionally hit peaceful protesters. [That is] not the case," the chief added. "They [surrounded] the vehicle, they began to pelt the vehicle – not just one of our police cruisers but two of them – and in one instance the rear window of one of our SUVs was broken out. Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers activated the National Guard on Wednesday after protesters toppled two statues, vandalized buildings and a state senator was attacked outside the Capitol during a night of violence that erupted following daylong protests. The guardsmen will protect state properties and "make sure people can exercise their First Amendment rights while ensuring the safety of members of the public and state buildings and infrastructure," Gov. Tony Evers said. The unrest that unfolded Tuesday night began after 200 to 300 protesters marched through downtown Madison and escalated once they reached the state Capitol grounds. This is a question. If any person while protesting engages in property damage (which is not protect speech) and then arrested and convicted they should not be qualified for student loan programs. How does one communicate this to our elected officials? Since student loans are controlled by the executive branch, can an executive order bypass the do nothing house? Just asking because it seems even the conversation would give these rioters pause. Even if they are out of school, if they have loans then they should be disqualified from repayment forgiveness programs.

A Muslim woman arrested during a Black Lives Matter protest in Miami was forced to remove her hijab for a booking photo, which a Muslim civil rights advocate called a “severe violation of religious freedoms.” It also prompted supporters to start an online petition demanding justice for Alaa Massri, 18, one of seven people arrested June 10 during a peaceful protest against racial injustice. The arrests occurred after demonstrators spray-painted the Christopher Columbus and Juan Ponce de León statues in Bayfront Park, the Miami Police Department said in a statement. Protestors covered the face and hands of Columbus in red...

Protesters in Portland, Ore., Sunday evening tore down a statue of Thomas Jefferson outside a high school that was named after him, according to a report. The tear-down came about during a march organized by Rose City Justice to protest police brutality – one of many demonstrations in weeks following the death of George Floyd while in the custody of the Minneapolis Police Department. The group had gathered outside Jefferson High School in Northeast Portland before marching to the park, Fox 12 reported. By the time they returned, a statue of Thomas Jefferson, the third U.S. president, had been pulled...

Multiple local news outlets reported that protesters spray-painted "BLM," the initials to Black Lives Matter, onto the bridge in yellow before being stopped by authorities. There were no reports of violence. The CHP reportedly said it arrested some of the protesters, who were in a caravan of about 50 vehicles. The backup began around 4:30 p.m. and continued for well over an hour. At 6:25 p.m., only a trickle of vehicles were moving past the protest scene...
