Humans and Neanderthals More Similar Than Polar and Brown Bears

BY JEFFREY P. TOMKINS, PH.D. * |

SUNDAY, JUNE 28, 2020

A study led by Oxford University researchers was recently published confirming that Neanderthals and humans were very genetically similar and interfertile. They were even closer than polar and brown bears are to each other, which are known to mate and produce viable offspring in the wild quite easily.1 Along with a plethora of previous DNA studies, this research further confirms that Neanderthals were an ancient people group of the human family, descended from Noah’s three sons and their wives after the global Flood.2-4

Interesting. But it’s the biblical giants that fascinate.

Funny that the more science learns, the more credible the Bible is.

Never, but never put a double-wide cave-woman into a single-wide trailer.

Indeed. To claim otherwise is either willful ignorance, or the Lord has hardened peoples hearts.

Every human population -- the distinct, geographically separated breeding groups that we used to call "races," before that term became politically incorrect -- that exists today contains Neanderthal DNA, generally in the 2-4 percent range, with one exception: people whose ancestry is undiluted sub-Saharan African.

Then there are the Denisovians, who are trickier, and Mitochondrial Eve, whose presence suggests that the species we know today as homo sapiens passed through a bottleneck, a near-extinction event, between 100,000 and 300,000 years ago. We're all pretty close cousins.

Seems like the narrative they wanted us all to now was that the, ugly short, stupid looking cave creature known as neanderthal was a big dummy and they so conveniently cherry picked the modern man out of the two. Typical liberal move. Its all about the science! especially when the science is funded by you. But if all the neanderthals looked like leonardo decaprio well then!
