The address part of this story would be the more interesting thing to get to. If it’s not a gun-shop, then it leads to questions of private groups being armed for something. But I can’t imagine Melbourne, Florida being some terror-for-hire situation.
There are a lot of AR parts dealers and manufacturers in Florida. I’m guessing that a shop ordered some Lower Parts Kits for retail sales and the manufacturer in China listed the contents incorrectly to avoid import duty. The buyer probably wasn’t even aware that the manufacturer would do this. Customs is just making political hay and way overstating both the risk and severity of this “seizure”.

Last place people would look for this. I’m just surprised they took it through Kentucky to get there as this “hub” has a history of hot stuff coming through. That wasn’t very smart. The place is covered with feds. Couldn’t get anything through there right now.
