No, assuming that spraying and wiping everything and wearing masks grants immunity to a virus is what's stupid. It will reduce the risk, not eliminate it. Also, last time I checked, cashiers at Costco do leave the premises and I'm pretty sure they don't spray and wipe everywhere they go.

You mean the cashier who is not wearing an N-95 rated mask (anything less will not stop a virus)? Or the cashier that has had the same gloves on while taking care of the previous 25 customers ahead of you? Or the cashier that is wearing their mask (even if it is the right type) wrong, because they can't breath while doing their work? Those cashiers?
