I suspect their statement about BLM was at least partly CYA...trying to prevent future problems and not to look like a bigot.
The guy taking the video was a white Bernie supporter and he tried to use it to stir up more $hit.
One or both of them is a lawyer with a client alleging “police brutality” ....or so I heard.
