Marginalized or vulnerable groups include, but are not limited to, groups based on their actual and perceived race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, immigration status, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, or disability. These include victims of a major violent event and their families.
Its the next part thats alarming:
While the rule on hate protects such groups, it does not protect all groups or all forms of identity. For example, the rule does not protect groups of people who are in the majority or who promote such attacks of hate.
Like other online platforms, Reddit has a set of rules that are supposedly meant to control hate speech. However, it appears that the platform considers that only some people are allowed to have such protections. Someone who happens to be born into a group that is a majority group, isnt protected by Reddits hate-based rules.
Many will likely take this to mean that, at least with the section related to race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, that Reddit could allow discrimination or hate against white people in areas where they are the majority. However, Reddit doesnt make clear whether this is country-specific and would apply the same way in most countries where white people, for example, are in the minority.
While many platforms have come up with hate speech policies in recent times, with rules against discrimination against race taking center stage, Reddit appears to be the only major platform that is saying its hate speech rules dont apply fairly to all users and perhaps more shockingly, without going into the details of how they determine that.

“or who promote such attacks of hate”
What the hell does that mean?
“such attacks”? Does that mean when an oriental (”who”) joins in to instigate *alleged* “hate” against some other non-majority group?
And I’m tired of the bad English. Since when did a verb become noun?
The noun is HATRED.
Sorry, off my soapbox there....
Women are in the majority.
It is getting to where white heterosexual men are being marginalized. Numerous academics and pundits have outright said “sit down, shut up, step aside and let someone else get a job”.
NOW was never about “equality”. Kate Millett said “TAKE AWAY HIS POWER”
The Star Warswomen say that the Future IS Female. Why not SHARE the authority and responsibility???
Truth is hate to people who hate truth.
“Majority”? Hillary did win the popular vote in 2016.
Update:
Reddit backtracks on shocking hate against majority allowed rules, makes them even vaguer

My guess is that Reddit intended to allow discrimination against white people or Christians without saying it. After making the rule, they realized there are countries where black people and Muslims are not the minority.
The net has slowly been closing around white male heterosexuals. The last few months, it has been put in over-drive.
Welcome to the Nuremburg Laws here in the U.S.
I’ve said it in other posts, I’ll say it again. The laws against the Jews were directly against them. Here, the laws give special rights and privileges the white males can’t utilize for their protection.
We are on a slippery slope.
We knew this was coming.
And Im tired of the bad English. Since when did a verb become noun?
Same time the word race quit being a verb would be my guess.
so Bullying on the internet is OK now and a part of Reddit
these are people whp claim we are in the minority
i guess we’re protected now /s
Internet is dead to anything close to free speech.
Isn’t that the way it’s been for years anyhow?
You are allowed to pick on and make fun of: whites, Christians (especially Catholic priests), heterosexuals, males, dead white historical Europeans, our founding fathers, capitalism, patriarchal, creationist, or American exceptionalist ideas.
Reddit align itself with the ultra-racist BLM is not a good move ... hopefully they will pay big-time for their racist decision.
Note also that Reddit, along with many other media, sports and game companies, has received a MASSIVE infusion of cash from China.
