In the case of Watson, it would have been quite possible to point out his errors on race and IQ without canceling him, the way that CSH and much of the scientific community has done.

Why not just go work somewhere else faculty? That would be my response were I a trustee. Try Howard or a change of professions like tire repair at tyrone’s tire shop or something equal to the importance of things you are worried about restocking soup cans at the market.
