Good evening, radu...still in the grips of horrid heat? We’ve had several small showers during the day.
A Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Howdy, Kathy.
Did you take a break and have a relaxing day?
Did you get any of the rain showers I saw on the airport cam?
We got a whoppin’ tenth of an inch this afternoon. woohoo. LOL Better than the nothing we’ve had lately.
Had a bodacious storm about 20 miles away spitting out LOTS of lightning this evening. Wish we could have gotten the rain it dumped but I did get several decent lightning shots. And the chilly outflow winds reached us and cooled things off nicely.
The highlight of the day. LOL
LOL! We must have started typing at the same time. Kitteh distractions slowed me down or we’d have tumbled over each other.
Glad you did get some of the rain I saw on the cam.
Howdy, luvie.
Did Hanna give y’all any relief from the heat? You should have gotten a little something since you didn’t get to benefit with some rain.
Hey, there! It’s only 83 so maybe it did cool things off a bit. I think it’s tacky for it to show up and only leave rain on the coast where they don’t even need it. LOL!
Hope your day was a bit cooler too. The heat has GOT to go!
It’s cooled off a bit there, at least. Still would have been nice if you’d gotten some rain too.
We hit 96 this afternoon, then a brief rain shower cooled things off about 10 degrees. Then right after sunset a big storm brewed up about 20 or so miles from us and the outflow cooled us off some more. I had goosebumps while outside getting video of the lightning. The wind was brisk.
It’s 73 out there now.
Two more days with 90s and then we have a stretch of 80s ahead. Now if we can just get some rain here. We have thirsty crops.
How's everyone doing this morning?
Hurrah for cooling!! Right now enough drops have come down to see the dry spots under the cars. I need to go see if we got enough to show in the gauge.
Hair cut and then work. I’ve probably got 15 or so child support orders to process, so I’ll work on them in the morning.
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Hope it’s a nice day for you and Gizmo to get out and explore.
You boys have a fun Sunday.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
How was your outing yesterday? Did Gizmo run across more interesting smells? I hope he didn’t find something stinky to roll in. You’ve been lucky for a while now. LOL
A little rain’s better than none at all, which both of us have had to deal with an awful lot lately.
We got enough to keep the gravel in the driveway damp for a while. Long enough to get my butt wet when I sat in the driveway getting lightning video. LOL
Never a real break. *sigh* At least you have all the programs you need at home now and can do what you need to do without sneaking into the office.
But the haircut was a break in the monotony. :-)
Here at the pics from yesterday.
These were ribs we had for supper.
Comanche Lake:
Glad you had fun with the lightning show.
I love working from home!!! LOL!
Good morning, luvie, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Thank you for the hymns.
Sounds like a banner day. Fun at the lake, not too hot, and ribs for supper.
It was sweltering here until late-afternoon pop-up showers showed up. We even got one over the farm! It was the first rain we’ve had in two and a half weeks.
It was a blast. We’ve had thunderstorms in the area all summer but the lightning primarily stayed up inside the clouds. This one was spitting it out like crazy. My kinda storm. LOL
My brother enjoys working from home too. In his case, he doesn’t have to drive an hour and a half each way to his job in Nashville.
In your case, no more dealing with those stairs during fire drills, you’re not in a cramped cubicle, and you can work at your own pace.
Great. Hopefully you’ll get some more rain later today. We have rain in the forecast Monday and Tuesday.
Shavua tov, may G-d protect our troops and first responders dealing with the anarchist scum and who will protect us from China.
