George Bush was very “dignified” when he launched the invasion of Iraq, strongly supported by Biden and Hillary (and mostly Freepers , sad to say).
For nevertrumpers, it doesn’t matter that the invasion of Iraq turned the Middle East into an exploded powder keg , and led to the deaths of half a million Iraqis and four thousand Americans ( not to mention the dismemberment of thousands of US troops). Because the invasion was decreed in a “dignified” way, the nevertrumpers support Bush - and they HATE Trump for denouncing the invasion
I think most Freepers assumed President Bush would prosecute the invasion in a way that we wouldn’t be there nearly twenty years later.
