See #138—the guests at the golf club asked to watch the presser. The press freaked out that they were not wearing masks and some were drinking wine. Jerks.
Trump: (to the press) “They (non-press attendees) heard you were coming and decided to protest.”
Haha, man he should have stayed up there for another 10 minutes just to make the press squirm. The crowd was getting into it there at the end.
He asked why the guests were not following CDC guidelines and wearing masks.
There was a great flourish at the end but Tucker Carlson is busy covering Kanye West.
Trump brought a group of supporters in to heckle the press and cheer him.
When the press said they were violating covid rules, he said no, there is an exception for “peaceful protest”.
But FOX didn’t cover it. Disgusting.
He asked “why people in this room were not abiding by the law and wearing masks”

Glad I wasn’t watching Tucker. Was watching online at the White House website. Missed all but the very end - got to hear the cheering and listen to him talk about peaceful protest!

I had to watch on line it was great but few saw the end thanks to Tucker Carlson and Fox.
Here's my notes on that bit: "unemployment benefits extended to end of the year. student loan payments deferred until further notice. eviction moratorium extended. payroll taxes deferred until end of the year, retroactive to July 1st."
He said the orders are being drafted and could be signed by the end of the (new?) week.
