Over the course of any election season, there are surprises and moments of outrage that test our expectations of what acceptable behavior is. We shock each others consciences and blame the other side for their lack of decorum. Even knowing that, what the mainstream media have done in the past few days is drastically, almost absurdly, irresponsible. There is a solemnity to their duty, and they refuse it here in these potentially revolutionary times. When you witness the degree to which widespread misinformation was propagated by journalists as it relates to the United States Postal Service, it serves as a marker to you that things might not be OK after all.
An ongoing and decade-plus long battle between right-wing voter integrity and left-wing ballot expansion activists, detailed pre-COVID by mainstream publications covering the expanded number in state election law challenges, has resulted in widespread on-the-ground and narrative wins for the Left. How do I know this? America, again before COVID, had essentially conceded that it would no longer have an Election Day. That narrative matured with assistance from each power center of the Left: bare-knuckle partisan politicos like Barack Obama, celebrity activists like Tom Hanks, and one-sided news articles preparing us to be unable to know election results within typically expected timeframes.
A second narrative then comes into view from there, one my few readers (did I mention they were noble?) may remember from a few columns ago. That having established that advantage, Stacey Abrams and other activists were now pushing to brand any resistance to longstanding left-wing ballot expansion efforts as illegitimate election tampering. Where were now headed is not only widespread acceptance of those two narratives, but a third: that absent cash infusions for the Postal Service and a pause or abandonment of the ongoing reform efforts underway, Donald Trump is inappropriately interfering with Americas election and any victory will be immediately suspect.
This is important to remember because that third narrative has, like any good conspiracy theory, spread like wildfire and become gospel around the country. As the DNC kicks off, we are about to be subject to four days of conspiracy over the Postal Service that will magnify and solidify the misinformation and outrage into a cardinal understanding in the popular imagination. Its what the press would call red meat if it were capable of embarrassment. The outcome will be half of the country primed in advance of the election to refuse the results.
What you will not hear during the DNC is that the removal of mail-sorting machines was part of a plan previously approved by USPS outgoing leadership. Nor that the letters sent to states warning them of delays were drafted before the appointment of the new supposedly partisan Postmaster General, or that they were an attempt to make it more likely that the elections went smoothly, not less. In fact, the Postal Service typically coordinates with election officials in each state, and the detailed and widespread warnings this time around were in response to the challenges the service faced in managing through COVID and the primaries.
We are likely now converging around the issue over which our contested election will be so. A Russia 2.0 even. Thats the more serious point here, where weve now arrived. We can debunk the histrionics youll see this week from the DNC around this issue, but it wont matter. Remember now that these are dangerous hours.
I have no doubt. A likely outcome will be January 20, 2021 arrives, and the DemSocRats refuse to accept a Trump victory. Rat states insist Biden won, conservative states insist Trump won.
Rats will insist that trunks full of mail-in ballots “found” in contested state races weeks after the election MUST be counted for Biden.
Trump says, no, they are fakes, they must be rejected.
The Marxist Media sides 100% with Team Rat.
So: who will evict Trump from the White House? Who will remain loyal and protect him? Will JCS boss Millie again prove disloyal?
Add another factor, the “White House Siege” by Antifa/BLM communists scheduled to begin Sept. 17. The entire White House area may be surrounded by communist revolutionaries 24/7 from September through January.
This Banana Republic outcome is precisely the DemSocRat intention, part of their play to create “revolutionary conditions.”
In the words of Vladimir Lenin: “The worse, the better.”
For at least 20 years, our elections have been kind of a 50/50 split. I mean, you need to count the hanging chads to figure out who really won, because the country is so perfectly divided.
The virus (apparently) prevents some people from going to the polls. Does this affect Democrats more than Republicans? No. Why would it?
The Democrats are insisting that mail-in ballots become a big issue this year. Why? Why is it especially important to them? Their position seems to be that if we handle this election like we’ve handled every other election, that this somehow cheats the Democrats out of their rightful victory. How exactly does that work?
Here we are 3 months from the election and the Democrats are already saying that Trump cheated and stole the election. They have a really blatant strategy here and they seem to have no interest in hiding it.
Yep. See #2.
That’s the “mail in vote” plan:
Heads the Rats win; Tails the GOP loses.
‘Joe and the Ho’ are just comic relief.
The Demonicrats’ real effort is to subvert the Constitutional elections of the President and Congress and with that the permanent control of the STCOTUS* majority, thus gaining control of all three federal branches of what used to be the United States of America.

Just a few months ago, I would have felt these words to be melodramatic and alarmist. Not now.
I dont know how this happened so fast, except that it really wasnt fast, its been going on in bits and pieces over the years, and we just tolerated it. The shutdown gave them just the moment they were waiting for, the Revolutionary Moment, as the Marxists called it.
Now the weakness of our institutions, weakened by years of left wing infiltration and subversion, makes it imposible for our Constitutional structure to protect us. It increasingly makes it seem as if were on our own against the coming fury, as Bruce Catton used the phrase in the title of the first book in his Civil War histories, referring to the lead up to the Civil War.
Because they mean to fight this time, the actual arithmetical enumeration of votes is not very interesting to them, they are setting up a scenario where "we really won" has enough superficial plausibility to make some of theirs pick up a rifle, and maybe to make some of theirs who command men with rifles go along with installing a Leftist government no matter what.
The pre-senile Pelosi did say recently, "Trump is going, no matter what happens", or words to that effect.
“Just a few months ago, I would have felt these words to be melodramatic and alarmist. Not now.”
Judging by my book sales going up over 5X in the past few months, I think a lot of folks agree with your shift in sentiment.
There’s one thing everyone has near them and they even have a transportation system that goes with it. Schools. They already use them in some places for voting. I think they pretty much all have one huge room of some sort. Either a gym or an auditorium. They also tend to have roofs over the outside walkways. Have the school buses run their routes all day long. Bring in the Nat Guard to oversee things, make sure people ‘social distance’ in line etc. Have one or two on each bus to help the old and handicapped, to maintain order hand out masks to people that don’t have them. They could even drive the buses. Put tape over every other seat and there’s your social distance. Two members of the same household can sit side by side. The schools should already have the budget for the bus fuel since they’ve all taken three months off this past Spring.
Exactly right.
“Heads we win, tails you lose.”
The narrative has been in place for some time. If Trump wins the the Democrats will claim it was because of voter suppression, via Post Office and reducing voter roles. If Biden wins then the Republicans will claim it was due to voter fraud. So regardless of who wins, half the country will consider their election fraudulent.
Trump should hold a presser TODAY, require both the current and former Postmasters to be up there on the dais with him, along with a detailed timeline of what was advised at what point in time.
Require NPR to broadcast it, since they are funded by We The People.
Issue a call for our side to hit the streets (peacefully).
No way most of the enemedia will broadcast this, but there has to be a way around them.
We are on our own. Unfortunately.
How did the Weimar Republic do with peaceful, legalistic and constitutional resistance to the Antifa of their day?
What was ultimately required to bring them to heel?
Pray it doesn't come to that. But in Portland and Seattle, there are already "combinations too powerful to be suppressed by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, or by the powers vested in the marshals by law", they are highly organized along military lines, at least to the company level, and may be functioning with support of a rebel faction in our government.
If you intend peaceful counterdemonstrations, you are going to get hurt or killed, and if you defend yourself you will be going to prison.
The time for Dr. Raoul and the merry band of FReepers has passed.
These people will be put down with extralegal, extraconstitutional force or they will prevail.
