he Democratic National Convention continues to struggle for eyeballs on television, according to preliminary data from Nielsen, which suggests that Night 2 of the event attracted just 6.13 million viewers at ABC, CBS and NBC.
If the numbers hold — they're expected to be updated late Wednesday — the audience will have sunk 48 percent across the three broadcast networks compared to the second night of 2016's convention that nominated Hillary Clinton for president.

Trump literally transferred free money to my checking account. How are the Democrats going to top that?”
Instead of going with the traditional schedule, they should have had biden’s nomination and speech the first night.
Or maybe it is their intention to drive down viewership, so only biden’s close family are around to watch his speech on Thursday?
Our TV streaming is ROKU based. The home screen has adds off to the right promoting various channels.
The last few days they have been promoting a summer of love channel that’s billed as oldies music. Liking music from the 60’s & 70’s I clicked on it. It went to the D20 Dem Convention channel.
Thinking this was a one time error, I’ve tried this over the last two days, same thing.
The ROKU a$$holes are trying to trick customers into watch the demonrat dumpster fire. I get enough of Joe & The Ho on the internet. TV is for entertainment, not politics.

On another note, is it really necessary for these virtual conventions to be 4 nights long? Bang out these mofos in a night, two tops, and donate the saved money to charity.
Maybe some of the people who tuned in expecting to hear Democrats were shocked to see the D list of the Republican Party of the past, and turned it off.

That depends, but going out on a limb I would say:
1) Looters - 0% watching (too busy looting after all.)
2) Non-looters - 100% of those watching.
This disturbing fact signals to the Democrats that there just aren't enough people out on the streets looting or destroying property.

Next week it’s our turn. All conservatives should turn in every night to watch the RNC convention to make sure Trump has viewership ratings as high as possible, especially in comparison to the DNC fiasco. Tell all your friends and neighbors that are conservative and/or interested independents to make sure to tune in to the Pub convention. Let’s keep OUR turnout something to behold in comparison to Sleepy Joe’s roadshow.
