One of the most famous clues in a Sherlock Holmes mystery is what's commonly referred to as "the dog that didn't bark," or, as Holmes actually said, "the dog did nothing in the night-time." Rasmussen Reports, which puts out a Daily Presidential Tracking Poll like clockwork, noticed that its competitors ceased barking (or, if you prefer, polling) after the two parties held their conventions. According to Rasmussen, which would know, this silence was unprecedented.
Rasmussen published a series of tweets on Monday openly snarking at its competitors for their silence. Moreover, whoever is writing Rasmussen's tweets was not shy about identifying a reason for the other polling outfits' unusual reticence: the narrative up until the conventions was that Biden was unstoppable; it's now quite possible that he's been stopped.
OK folks, no joke, this is now a national poll suppression story.
WHERE. ARE. THE. POLLS. ???

Rasmussen then retweeted a reply it received to the above post, one showing how active the polling was in 2016:
Compare with 2016 when the polling didn't stop before, during, or immediately following the conventions: pic.twitter.com/7An3dphkxY— (((Jason Epstein))) (@Southfive) August 31, 2020
Next, Rasmussen tweeted its own version of the same data:
Polls Issued For Comparison: July 31, 2016 thru Sept 5th, 2016

AND NOW - THERE ARE FIVE
Thank You @EmersonPolling !
It has been 11 days since the end of 1st 2020 national party convention - the DNC on Aug 20th.
In 2016 there were apparently 9 national polls 11 days after the end of 1st national party convention - the RNC on July 21st.

We all knew that 2016 polls were flawed, or likely - purposely corrupted.
2020 polls are far worse. ANTIFA/BLM thugs roam the streets, and the entire leftist apparatus of mainstream media, education, and most branches of government are out to cancel traditional Americans. What average person will dare tell the truth about their political beliefs to a stranger?
I receive polling calls regularly close to elections. I always lie - not merely to hide my own beliefs, but to screw with their results. These people do not deserve the truth.
The entire polling industry has driven a wooden stake into it’s own heart every 4 years.
Their only use at this point is to give journalists SOMETHING optimistic (in their view) to talk about.
It takes no time to rig the outcome of a poll but lots of time to provide underlying data.
If we go into Nov. 3 and the national polls are Biden +1, Biden will be in big trouble. I don’t see how, following the debates (if they are conducted in even a remotely even-handed fashion), that Biden retains any lead. The first debate is coming up, and I suspect we’ll see “live fact checking” used as a weapon against DJT, but not against Biden. I’d like to know who the moderators will be in these debates.
Who knew?
Was it on Sunday when the entire news media got the internals and admitted that riots weren't peaceful protest marches or a DC myth?
How do you “fact check” a candidate that refers to “the thing” and “the other Biden”?

Last week there were not many polls released at the weekend or on Mon/Tue then a bunch on Wednesday. There will be a bunch later this week that have their sampling all after the RNC.
This year the polls are meant to cover for the rampant cheating that will be going on. “See, we told you Sleepy Joe was ahead!”
That has to be the greatest understatement ever made......what a bunch of fools....................
If Trump wins, all these polls will be used to show that somehow Trump and Republicans cheated and stole the election.
I was talking to someone; I don’t know his politics but can guess. But anyway, he said in 2016, many precincts in the key state of Michigan had election results which were diametrically opposed to the exit polls there. I said I had not seen that news report. He said he saw it on MSNBC, which makes me think he’s probably liberal, and lapping up whatever MSNBC spews forth.
So I can just imagine, they will use all these polls showing Biden far ahead, to claim that actual results were changed by Republicans.
The polls are all fake. That includes Rasmussen.
Irony given Rasmussen is part and parcel of that ‘something fishy about polling’ sh*t.........!
RE: The polls are all fake. That includes Rasmussen.
There are only two possibilities -— Trump will win, or Trump will lose.
Therefore, polls that predict the right result cannot, by definition be fake.
