If there is a contested election, Nancy Pelosi DOES NOT automatically become acting-President. There are scenarios under which the House decides the outcome, but that does not automatically mean Pelosi is chosen. She might not even be Speaker of the House by the time Congress would enter the fray.
In fact, there are certain ways that having an election decided by the House could be advantageous to President Trump. More on that later.
Some of this confusion started when the President asked on Twitter if the election should be delayed. That idea was considered, discussed, and quickly discarded. Short of something much more catastrophic than Covid 19 … the election will be held on November 3rd.

The situations in which an election is “contested” to the point that Congress gets involved are so narrow and improbable, they don’t warrant a concern.
The margin that Trump will command in November will guarantee that even Democommunist election fraud won’t be able to catch up.

I'm not sure I understand this thinking at all.
I guess the idea is that we will collect ballots in November, count them up and (potentially) see that Republicans take control of the House. Based on that ballot count, Nancy won't be Speaker of the House.
Then the next idea seems to be that the ballots we collect in November will be contested, and the results so obscure that no one will know who the President is. In which case, you know, maybe the Speaker of the House might end up being the president. But that might not be Nancy.
I'm seeing an inherent contradiction in these two lines of thought. Either the election outcome is known or it is not known.

There’s a very significant reason the electoral college vote happens AFTER the new congress is sworn in. That’s when the election actually happens, and things get handled by the new congress.
But if you can successfully identify the new congress, based on the Nov ballots, why can’t you successfully identify the new president? Or identify the electors chosen to serve in the EC? It’s the same ballots.

I just read an article that said the blue states are allowing up to 30 days to manufacture, er' I mean to count all the mail-in ballets.. I'll bet they can "find" a whole lot of votes in that amount of time...

You can. But it also doesn’t matter. The presidential popular vote is a show. EC is the vote that matters. Currently our states LET us pick how our EC votes. They don’t have to. They haven’t always. Someday they may not again.
To put it simply, either all elections are contested or none of them. I don’t know if that’s true or not.
It would be the first step in CW II.
That’s basically my question. It appears that the expectation is that we use the outcome of the election to determine the outcome of the election. That is inherently circular.
If the House election is not contested, how can the presidential election be contested? All or None should be contested.
If we have a contested election, the purpose will not be to overturn the results, but rather to undermine American confidence in the election process.
They know they cant win... It’s a scorched earth agenda.

It has traditionally been a common goal of both parties to preserve American confidence in the election process.
That is no longer true.
We went through this before....It wound up in the Supreme Court.....when it wasn’t toooooo political. With the 3 girls, the Dems have a good lead.
