Hmmm... Just think, if we (Americans) controlled the DOJ we could anticipate the AG going to the USSC to put a stop to this throwback (to the Stalin era) strategy...

Maybe we could get Dunham to investigate... Snicker...

Kind of like the Michigan governor's genius plan to force Wal-Mart to block off major parts of the store to the traffic would all be funneled through parts that sold food and medicine.

The most dangerous place in our county from mid-March to mid-June was the Wal-Mart parking lot at opening time. In fact, the only person I personally know who contacted it was a lady in my wife's social circle who worked there. Fortunately, she made a full recovery.

Maryland...

How active are blm and antifa there? I really don’t know and haven’t checked.

A possibility I don’t see anyone else has mentioned -

Concentrating voters in fewer locations, not exactly a good way to slow the spread of the virus but this is not about the virus. As usual, nothing is as it seems. How about making sure the antifa/blm thugs aren’t spread too thin and can itimidate voters virtually throughout the entire state?

Much smaller number of voting locations, fewer thugs needed to scare people away per precinct. Or bash heads in those cases a few refuse to be intimidated...

I’ve already said more than once I expect them to resort to violence. Is this the democrats making it easier for their thug militia? They know they don’t have enough animals to go around if all the normal polling places are open, so close 3/4 of them down, then they aren’t spread so thin.

The closer it gets to election day the more I am not looking forward to it...

Imagine CNN headlines “REPUBLICAN SOS in Maryland orders closing of 1800 polling places for Nov 3rd due to COVID concerns”

I live in MD and I will wait however long it takes to vote, even though my vote won’t mean much.

+1. Our votes likely won't count, but I too will show up.

People may not understand how it works here - the eliminiation of polling places means we go to the local high school rather than the local elementary school. It's not that big a deal for those of us who bother to vote in person.

Save me a place in line. I’ll be there as well. I’ll pack a lunch if I have to... but I’m going to the polls
