A historic occasion is occurring at the White House, and the gratitude of these people to our President is palpable.

I think you’ve got a point there. Nations are strange
creatures at times though. They see others getting ready
to reap peace dividends, and they may just be compelled
to join.

Part of my statement was based on the fact the
Palestinians couldn’t prevail at the Arab League (or
whatever group it was) they tried to get the others
to condemn the deal.

Seems most of the nation saw positive results coming
from the deal(s).

“Could hardly contain his joy” is a good description of how he looked through the entire ceremony. He is being honored at the White House instead of being sent out the back door.

“Seek peace and pursue it” (Psalm 34:15)......“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” (Matthew 5:9)

Gods Words tells us repeatedly to seek peace and conveys God’s desire that we should be peacemakers, doing our best to live at peace with everyone.

There are also scriptural reasons to be encouraged by the new links of peace forming in the south with several positive references to Sheba and Dedan (the Persian Gulf area) in relation to Israel in biblical prophecy. One example is from Isaiah 60:6, with similar hints in Psalm 72:10 and Ezekiel 27.

[While peace in the Mideast is a nice thought, we might want to review the Biblical view of peace in the Mideast. It's a sign of the End Times when Israel is at peace with her neighbors.]

Certainly those times are coming, brother.

Like John Ankerberg, I'm still expecting a man to arise out of Europe and confirm a 7-year peace covenant. And in the middle of those 7-years, break that covenant and his false prophet religious leader will make the mark of the beast mandatory for anyone who wants to buy and sell.

BUT, that being said, the stage is set. I expect this to become more "popular". I'm still expecting the EU's tower of Babel to chime in (eventually) with their chosen "leader".

It may not be THE deal. We may never even know which deal it is. Antichrist will confirm THE covenant. The deal. Whichever it is. This one seems a done deal between Israel and the two Arab states. I think this covenant will be a deal that is not fully "confirmed" but will be sitting there needing the final stamp of approval so to speak. I hope we never know. I hope the Harpazo comes and we are gone. Off to be with the LORD!

My husband and I put off our naps to watch this...just great. How historic!!! Couldn’t help but wonder what some liberal friends and relatives thought of it - IF - they even bothered to watch. I bet they didn’t!!!!
