How much of a problem did Joe Biden have in 1987 when reporters started noticing that some of his speeches sounded a little too familiar?
It reached a point where even late-night host Johnny Carson took a jab at Biden, who at the time was a U.S. senator from Delaware and running his first bid for the White House, seeking the 1988 Democratic presidential nomination.
On the political scene, one of the Democratic candidates, a Senator Joseph Biden have you seen the problem hes been having? Carson asked his audience at the start of the Tonight Show" one evening.

Biden...he not only stole other men’s words...he stole another man’s wife.
“It’s so hot...”
“HOW HOT IS IT???”
“...It’s so hot that Joseph Biden kissed a little boy’s ice cream cone!”
Like many comedians, Biden knows to only steal from the best.
We need Carson badly during these times.
No kidd8ng. He was an absolute master of his art. One of the all-time greats of entertainment. Sorely missed.

Question for slow Joe on 9/30 debate: Mr. Biden you were rejected by the American people in 1988 because of your plagiarized speeches and misrepresentations of your scholastic rankings. Given these untruths then why should Americans trust you now?
Hope Trump brings it up at debate
I used to tape his show {vhs, what a pain} so I could watch it, because I got up before 5 AM and couldn't stay awake to watch it.
He was a riot.
I sometimes go to youtube and type in Carson. Never disappoints.
My favorite remains when Sinatra was a guest and Rickles walked on the set and proceeded to have a conversation with Frank - hilarious stories!

Johnny was smart enough to distribute his political barbs to both sides of the aisle.
If you get a channel called Antenna TV where you live they air a Carson rerun every night at 10PM Eastern. It’s usually on a subchannel of one of your over-the-air stations, and sometimes on cable.
Letterman in his early years did the same. I recall laughing at a few of his George Bush I jokes. I quit watching him though in perhaps 1994. Too liberal and political.

Above is 6+ minutes of great comedy. Rickles was a guest and broke Carson’s cigarette box while Carson was away. Carson returns and discovers the box is broken.
That’s another great one with the great Rickles!!!
He lied this campaign, saying that he was arrested in South Africa trying to see Mandela, and Mandela came to his office in DC later to thank him.
