No, it's not clear anything happened. People want to blame everything that ever happens to them on race or some other factor. Someone cuts you off in traffic or flips you the bird? It's because I'm black/mexican/female/gay.
Smith has been pampered and coddled since High School, where he was a top prospect recruited by colleges nation wide. Since his teens, he has enjoyed fame and privilege, soon followed by immense wealth. He has lived a life 99% of people can only dream about, regardless of race. How could someone so blessed, so lifted by American Greatness, and so privileged, be so desperate to be a victim?
Emmitt has watched as his close friends and team mates enjoyed special treatment when busted for drug possession, wife beating, assaults, batteries, DUI's and other crimes where every day working class people would have been jailed. Emmitt Smith has lost any respect I had for him. He is an America hating race hustler.
