WASHINGTON — An election-year investigation by Senate Republicans into corruption allegations against Joseph R. Biden Jr., the Democratic presidential nominee, and his son, Hunter, involving Ukraine found no evidence of improper influence or wrongdoing by the former vice president, bringing to a close a highly politicized inquiry its leaders had hoped would tarnish President Trump’s rival....

Republican investigators found no evidence that Mr. Biden acted inappropriately, including when he joined other nations in pushing for the ouster of Ukraine’s top prosecutor who was investigating Burisma. Mr. Trump’s pursuit of that debunked charge is what prompted his impeachment last year, after he pressured Ukraine’s leader to look into it himself....

“It’s not the legitimate role of government for Congress or for taxpayer expense to be used in an effort to damage political opponents,” Mr. Romney said.

Wonder how many convicts are in prison for “blackmail” or “extortion”, with less evidence than the courts would have in a trial of Joe Biden.

So it’s okay to blackmail a foreign nation using funds of
the United States as a carrot, into caving so your son won’t
be investigated?

Ah, the good old Keystone Republican Investigators.

But the 87-page document released on Wednesday by the Senate Homeland Security Committee contained no evidence that the former vice president improperly manipulated American policy toward Ukraine or committed any other misdeed.

That's not what he was accused of, as I remember.

It concluded that Hunter Biden’s position “hindered the efforts of dedicated career-service individuals who were fighting for anticorruption measures in Ukraine.”

THAT is what the Bidens were accused of.

This is just the kind of bait and switch the NYT pulled with the help of Joe Wilson over the "Saddam Hussein tried to buy uranium in Africa" story. Wilson hastened to inform the NYT that Saddam had not, in fact, bought uranium, so there. But the story wasn't that he was buying it. It was that he was trying to, and that was problem enough.

Another fake report from the nazis at the NYT. The sole purpose of this fake news is to provide some miniscule hope of victory in order to prevent their 50 IQ Orc and Morlock readers from jumping off buildings.

From the report, p. 17:

According to [Amos] Hochstein, he raised this issue with Vice President Biden because he was concerned that the Russians were using Hunter Biden’s role with Burisma to sow disinformation.51 Hochstein recounted that he spoke with Vice President Biden in the West Wing of the White House in October 2015.52 When asked why he decided to raise the issue of Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board with Vice President Biden, Hochstein testified:
Hochstein: We were starting to think about a trip to Ukraine, and I wanted to make sure that he [Vice President Biden] was aware that there was an increase in chatter on media outlets close to Russians and corrupt oligarchs-owned media outlets about undermining his message—to try to undermine his [Vice President Biden’s] message and including Hunter Biden being part of the board of Burisma.53
Hochstein also raised his concerns about Russian disinformation with Hunter Biden. Shortly after his conversation with Vice President Biden, Hunter Biden contacted Hochstein and asked to meet. According to Hochstein, Hunter became aware of Hochstein’s West Wing conversation with the Vice President, who had mentioned it to Hunter.54 Hochstein described what he and Hunter Biden discussed at this November 2015 meeting at a coffee shop in Georgetown:55
Joe Biden has repeatedly said that he never discussed his son's business dealings with him.

There is a video of Biden threatening to withhold US aid if the Ukrainian leader did not fire the prosecutor looking into Biden’s son’s illegal activity. I’ll believe my lying eyes before I believe the NYT.

Americans better WISE UP/
Key swamp demons were making fortunes when they allowed US companies in a number of industries including pharma, computer; and electrical as well metal fabrication components even bicycles relocate their factories in China . To the point where China was our sole supplier. The money the CCP has now comes from US .If we play our Chinese checkers right we can really turn things around for the better not only here but in China as well.

The worst part of this that GOP Senate had proof Joe Biden was lying for how many months? And then did nothing of substantive to overcome alleged FBI stonewalling? Something stinks here and it isn’t just Hunter Biden.

Biden did this under the umbrella protection of Brennan and the CIA.

The CIA was/is working with Soros.

The weeds of the Deep State are bigger and deeper than even Trump imagined.

What you show here is that there is plenty of ammo to go after these guys.We know that it’s obvious that potus knows it as well. My guess is the principals in all this are already targets and may have been for some time. So expecting new stuff to happen almost immediately may not happen. It’s likely that potus has all this under control and was on to these criminals long before the news ever hit.
For me every time I underestimate the potus I’m wrong.

If the wheels of justice ground any more slowly, they would grind to a halt.

The only person who will be held to account in all of this sordid mess is that low level guy who was arrested.

The Senate report could have pointed out the extensive Biden corruption instead of letting him off the hook.
