That is amazing because he is not a fitness buff. Almost every male that age has hypertension and diabetes or pre-diabetes is very prevalent when you weigh that much.
Pre-diabetes is a sham. Either you have diabetes or you don't. There is a spectrum of blood sugar levels and pancreatic function among all people. When those reach levels of the definition of diabetes, then you have diabetes.
Most of us are pre-COVID-19. I guess we need to behave differently.
My guess is that Biden is considered high risk. If president, how would he handle a dire situation, such as a war, when he cannot meet someone face to face. Zoom meetings? What happens when the infrastructure is down, damaged, or destroyed? Meeting face to face may be the only option. But he might catch the covid... oh my gosh!! Let war continue because he cannot meet face to face.
He does golf so there is that if he gets enough walking in.
