The 2020 Atlantic Hurricane epidemic continues for the Gulf of Mexico. Delta is currently forecast to reach hurricane strength in the Gulf of Mexico. Wearily and warily, we are once again looking at potential dueling storms in the Gulf of Mexico. There is a possibility we witness a Fujiwhara effect between Delta and Gamma. Delta is expected to be the dominant storm system. Meanwhile, Gamma moved much further northeast than previously anticipated.

Yeah, Gamma is just a rainbag at this point... Delta could blow up to a major hurricane, so that’s a real concern.
We just finished up fixing damage to Son's beach house in Gulf Shores. We did leave the ground floor garage and storage room open to the studs just in case, with plans to do drywall in November.
Thanks for the ping.
From the current NOAA projections and spaghetti models it looks like Delta is going to clear the way for Gammera break free of the Yucatan and follow Delta into the US?
The Falcons have been epically terrible in the 4th quarter in the past 2 weeks... I'm hoping 2020 also stops fighting against us.
We don't have everything back together from Sally yet.
The roads are lined with trash/trees, etc waiting for FEMA.
I wore a sweat shirt on my morning hike today though...was a little cool.
Maybe cool weather will slow things down a bit.
My propane generator is still in the shop....on my way to get my brother's Honda generator now...they're leaving on a planned trip to Tenneessee tomorrow and won't need it...thankfully.
Sally hit that area harder than most people realize.
I read in the newspaper that there are 200-300 people in apartments that are being told they have to move because of damage to their apartment complex. There's no where there for that many people/families to move to.
Weary is correct.

Im with you. Just finished cleaning (no damage) from Sally. Had my own bonfire yesterday. I swapped out two propane tanks for generator this morning. I have a bad feeling about this one.
My son and his crew have been down there cleaning up. It is definitely worse than the media says. Of course all they have time to cover is the “evil” Trump and all of his bad deeds. I have yet to hear any real things about his evilness but that doesn’t matter. I just know the northern Gulf has enough damage with out more.
Hello again, pretty active season. Glad you are helping me keep an eye on Delta.
More likely Gamma will be swallowed by Delta.
Glad to hear you can borrow your brother's generator.

...and you have received warm wishes from Fogman the cat.
This season was getting tiresome before Sally. Multiple dueling GOM storm events this season is ridiculous.
A good plan for 2020.
Thanks for checking in. This may end up being one big GOM storm in a few days.
Thank you NN for your dependability!
Youve been busy this year. Thanks for all you do.
I have loads of family on the Mississippi and Alabama Coast. Theyve just gotten the last mess cleaned up. No fair.
Thank you for your kind thoughts. Much appreciated.
