And when you retire from the club fed, you instantly become a beach friend..
I used that word because “jail” seems to be such an old-fashioned idea now days.
So Clinton planted seeds, too. It works.
No, a den of spys. CIA officers have also been appointed as head of missions and me thinks sometimes the presidents don’t even know... The Den spans some folks entire lifetimes.
No, the State Department didn’t spy on American citizens.... We have already been told those people are agency.
I’d would love to see the Trump NSC security clearance approval file on Fiona Hill. Unfortunately that is not going to happen....
Itll take generations to clean it all out, and we dont have generations.

Rotten? Oh yeah.
Who thinks and strategizes, albeit erratically and confusingly sometimes, for the long run and has for decades and centuries?
Where did Bloomberg make big dough?
Where did Sleepy Joe go to top off Hunter&Family’s coffers to the brim?
China. The Black Hole of a maelstrom that is intent on sucking us all down to the bottom of the abyss.
Just follow the trail of the defenders&worshippers of Big Red. They waltz on the mass graves of past Red successes.
The Department of State is a relic from a time when travel to places around the world took days and weeks. With air travel being what it is and telecommunications being what they are there is absolutely no reason to pay that many American Hating liberals as much money as they make, all while taking very very good care of them when they have an overseas posting, anymore. They pretty much spend their days hating America, letting their foreign counterparts know they hate America, sell America out as often as they can, waste taxpayer money by who knows what, do their best to make sure their liberal buddies can get a job with DOS, and pretty much do nothing more than party on the government dime.
Yep. Government should contract out almost EVERYTHING to private sector contractors.
Ditto that. Remember Trump hater David Holmes who said he overheard the presidents conversation with Gordon Sonland while having dinner during the impeachment hearings.
Here is a short video of Ratcliff’s takedown of the weasel. It starts about 50 seconds into the video

I read it that way too. Am I wrong to think monitoring social media accounts which consist of basically public information isnt that big a deal? As long as the investigation is based on a legit basis? Or should the state department not be investigating anybody?
I think monitoring social media would be fine - people need to learn not to say anything they want kept private on public forums using their real name!!
They go way beyond monitoring public forums. They read private emails texts, they crack passwords and aliases, they weaponize the data for profit and politics.
I think in time, when people realize how much their privacy is being invaded, there will be a return to low-tech, non-internet solutions, more cash payments, and ways to block satellites, drones, etc..
It has to happen.. people will not tolerate it forever.
Unfortunately, they will because “money” is being digitized, and the carrot is all the Government handouts. We may not like it, but the ‘pandemic’ will ‘cancel’ cash. Barter can continue in many ways, including small, heavy, precious items.
I don’t even think it’s that. I did security at the US Embassy in Baghdad. I’ve heard their conversations. They think everyone loves them and EVERY Conservative is bad. I was there when Bush was still President. They State Dept people did the bare minimum, on a good day, to implement his foreign policy objectives. I’m no fan of him or most of his policies, but those bureaucrats, diplomats, and FSOs did just as much harm to US policy in the ME as the bad guys. All they did was get drunk and waste taxpayer dollars.
I would see and hear folks that said they worked in the ECON Section, whatever that is. Lets see...Ivy League school or one of the others on the approved list, no real work experience, studied economics or business administration in college and you’re now working with foreign counterparts on how to improve and run their economies. All you’ve done for the last 7 years of your life is get drunk in Georgetown or some Ivy League college town and, when you get the State Dept job, go to embassy parties or happy hours in DC.
All one has to do is look at who the President sends to negotiate our new trade deals. Businessmen that know how to run a business.
Fire them all. Hire fresh faces.
the emails clearly show Yovanovitch deserved to be recalled by Trump
If I remember correctly, Obama was able to move a bunch of political types to civil service before he left office.
Fire the rest of them. Since they’ll throw tantrums, give them something to kick and scream about.
