Rural California is divided, armed for revolt. What’s the matter in the State of Jefferson?

Redding

Carlos Zapata has a message for any government official who shows up at his Tehama County restaurant and tries to enforce California’s pandemic shutdown orders.

“I’ve made it very clear that if they come to shut us down, I’m going to call 100,000 people that’ll be there with guns, and what happens happens, you know?” Zapata said Tuesday. “I’m hoping that they’re not stupid enough to want that kind of a fight over a restaurant being open, but if they want it, we’ll definitely give it to them.”

It’s not the first time the Red Bluff restaurant owner and U.S. Marine combat veteran has made those kinds of threats. A few weeks ago, he told the Shasta County Board of Supervisors to expect trouble if they enforce Gov. Gavin Newsom’s COVID-19 restrictions on local businesses.

“Right now, we’re being peaceful,” he said in a short speech that has since made Zapata a celebrity among far-right groups. “But it’s not going to be peaceful much longer.”

Just about anywhere else in California, that sort of talk would have been widely condemned. But here, in what’s arguably the capital of the State of Jefferson — a decades-old movement to break off conservative northern counties from Democrat-controlled California — many have shrugged Zapata off as commonplace.

Every American can take pride in Jefferson.

And one day we'll have two conservative senators.

After we lead the new American revolution.

Americans have been known to rebel over what may appear to be minor things. Like a tax on tea, a tax on documents (the ‘stamp’ act), confiscating guns, etc.

Problem is, the blue part is where I want to live, except for maybe by San Diego. Why does the Left invade and mess up the desirable places to live?

When will Fresno county join Jefferson?
It reaches as far south as Stanislaus county now, and should be able to reach at least as far as Kings county.

I would happily move from my blue county to San Diego near Trump’s beautiful wall.

Why does the Left invade and mess up the desirable places to live?

*********

Because we let them. The only competent way to deal with locusts is complete eradication, but ain’t gonna happen. We know that. They know that. So they get what they want, when they want, simply because they want.

Recently moved from Silicon Valley to Magalia, Ca. A giant Trump banner covers part of the roof of a Pizzeria. No one has dared take it down.

I would move there in a heartbeat. Currently residing in a Red county in WA, and am actively getting ready to move. I want to live in a country...errr State that allows maximum liberty. Just the little things, like being able to paint my house, put up new siding, roofing, or add on a bedroom without PERMITS. Without fear of government coming for my guns, or building a high rise low income housing unit next door.

People say come to Texas, but after living where it is green and has actual seasons? I don’t mind the trees being farther apart than 6 feet, but not half a mile, that doesn’t cut it.

Well, God bless Viva Zapata. I think a rebellion to make a State of Jefferson will catch fire around the country. I hope patriots around the country stand up to these tyrant Democrat Governors and do the same thing. The fight for faith and freedom is a worthwhile fight even to the death. “Give me liberty or give me death.”

This whole mask thing is utter bull sh#t. The mask thing is political and absolutely another politically correct Leftist device to have dominion over the America People. ENOUGH!!!!!!
