why is it safe to assume that this means votes for Trump and not Biden? Trump is in Fayetteville, NC today... Doesn't that mean it's too close in NC? i keep coming here to look for rays of light, but i am not seeing it as clearly as i hope to--by now--4 days before the election...
This is somewhat data driven opinion with a healthy dose of wishful thinking. Trump and his team know more than anyone what the legitimate numbers look like and they are piling on everywhere they can in order to have an election night lead that is ridiculously insurmountable. Dems and networks forced to concede and if they don’t he’ll declare victory anyway.
A less optimistic view is that we know Dems plan to cheat before during and after Nov 3 and we must buffer the Trump lead.
I just posted shocking numbers out of North Carolina that show that white voters, and particularly white, working-class voters, are way over-performing in early voting.

Trump won working-class white voters big time in 2016. They are his BASE. They are coming out in HUGE numbers in 2020. That is great news.
NC has a contested Senate race, contested House races, a contested Gov. race. Redistricting map will be drawn by the next Gov., which could impact 3 or 4 congressional seats in NC, Lindsey Graham is right across the border. This is the kill-shot, and Trump will lift up down-ballot candidates. Lots of reasons to come to NC.
