I wonder if this wasn’t due to climate change skepticism, but rather because of the possibility that these folks were helping to introduce Wokey McWokerson concepts and struggle sessions into their agencies. I really wouldn’t put it past such folks nowadays.

Chatterjee has a case of sour grapes. Climate change activist, has no place in policymaking. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Biden will pick you up, no fear.

the commission is open to considering a carbon price, and perhaps that led to this, Chatterjee said The overstep... and we are seeing it so often.

It appears Chatterjee has been working for the Trump administration for much of Trump’s presidency
Neil Chatterjee - from wikipedia -
“He was commissioner in 2017 and again from October 24, 2018 until he was removed from the position by President Donald Trump on November 5, 2020”

Let the Deep State beheadings begin!!!
Go for it, President Trump, we have your back 1000%!
Next: Worthless FBI Director Wray, Worthless Secretary Esper, lots more to come, I hope!!
To: bitt
Fired for disagreeing with the President’s policy?
That’s how it’s supposed to work.
To: bitt
Go for it. Fire away. Declassify. Convict them with their own words.
Just in passing, I saw it mentioned that Esper, the Trump-hostile Secy of Defense, was gong to resign. Is this still happening? Or will Trump have to fire him?

I have obviously been out there promoting a conservative, market-based approach to carbon mitigation and sending signals the commission is open to considering a carbon price, and perhaps that led to this, Chatterjee said."
