Are you sure on the 1,000 mcg or is it 1,000 IU? 1,000 mcg would be 40,000 IU. You should probably be taking about 5,000 IU (125 mcg). Well, I hope your husband’s case stays manageable and you don’t get any symptoms. If you do get symptoms I would much appreciate hearing from you as I am trying to collect epidemiological stats for vitamin D supplementers.
