Republicans Need to Win Both GA Runoffs for Senate Majority That's Outside the Margin of Romney

GOP Needs to Make Senate Romney-Proof

Welcome to another chapter of the dystopian nightmare book: The Never-Ending Election.

Today’s story comes from the great state of Georgia, where, as Tyler wrote yesterday, all eyes have turned:

If Biden wins the presidency — giving Democrats a tie-breaker with Vice President Kamala Harris as the president of the Senate — Republicans just need to hold on to one seat in Georgia’s runoff elections in order to hold the majority.

That, of course, is mathematically true. The thing with thin Republican Senate majorities, however, is that they’re always vulnerable to one turncoat Republican (RIP, John McCain) who is more concerned with getting some kind words from The New York Times than in helping his or her own party. These days, the Senate Republicans’ number one turncoat threat is none other than one Mittens “Impeachment” Romney.

Sure, Romney has stuck with his party through most votes thus far. He obviously relished his backstabber role during impeachment though. Romney, as I’ve been saying for a very long time, is not the “decent” man that even his detractors like to say he is. He’s a straight-up political opportunist and attention you-know-what.

Romney is embracing his role as “the Republican whom Democrats say nice things about.” He made a big deal out of letting the press know that he didn’t vote for President Trump. A “decent” elected Republican official would have avoided the conversation altogether.

There is every reason to believe that Romney is only going to get worse. In the Democratic telling of the fairy tale, Romney is only out of sync with the “Trump Republicans.” The theory is that there will be peace in the valley once Trump is gone and Mitt will then be every Republican’s bestie.

And have the FEC DECERTIFY the DNC as a crime organization.

If so, And how will the Democrats make sure that whoever replaces Romney in Utah is going to be like him or worse?

True, however, a republican senate majority will keep in place the filibuster on legislation and the 60 vote requirement for cloture before a bill can be voted on by the senate.

That’s the silver lining.

That would be a small blessing. Romney takes a cabinet position and an actual Republican is appointed by the Utah governor.

Folks...please take note of the 50% that Sonny Perdue has just hit. He just needs just one percent more and he wins his Senate race.

I strongly urge the Trump lawyers in Georgia to find that one percent right now as the Georgia votes are being recounted and verified as legal!!! Do it...TODAY!!! Make that 50%...51%...or more, NOW!!! and, then Sonny will not need to go through a runoff!!!

Romney isn’t smart enough to know his future is to be dumped and then left without either job.

RE: Mittens Romney, the John Roberts of the Senate . . .

Let’s not forget, Mitt Romney voted to remove Trump from office while Susan Collins voted NO on Amy Coney Barrett for Supreme Court Justice. Lisa Murkowski is the eternal HAMLET Senator who decides at the last minute depending on where the political winds are blowing. She abstained from voting when Justice Kavanaugh was nominated.

Romney is an unethical ars. His only beef was with Trump who properly called him out as losing the election to Obama.

He won’t go against the party now because he has no excuse, other than being an ars.

Romney likes favorable press and the limelight. Just like McCain.

Exactly, Pierre Delecto is a cowardly spoiler.

He will NEVER get over the fact that Donald Trump had a fantastic first four years, and is greatly beloved by over 73 million voters.

Pierre was a PATHETIC presidential candidate who cowered in fear when facing Obama. Pierre is nothing but a bitterly jealous back-stabbing LOSER.

She abstained from voting on Kavanaugh, because she was matching her expected “no” vote with Senator Daines expected “yes” vote. Senator Daines, from Montana, was absent from the vote to attend his daughter’s wedding.

She would have been a “no” vote on Kavanaugh, if she had been voting on it.

Democrat Senate candidate Jon Ossoff is a retread....lost his first stab at election.

Back then, one of the Congressional Black Caucus brainiacs said Ossoff was "another JFK."

Ossoff went all-in-----
<><> he began playing touch football with his cousins,
<><> kept saying he lived in a "compound," and,
<><> said he loved ocean-sailing (in land-locked Georgia).

Ossoff even went to a Georgia Tearoom and ordered Boston Clam Chowder
while every decent Southerner was eating Georgia Peach Cobbler.

“Welcome to another chapter of the dystopian nightmare book: The Never-Ending Election.”

Brought to you by the Democrat Party and or the self serving politicians.
The main problem with Politics is there are to many politicians calling the shots..rather than The People calling the shots.
We are still a Representative Government...its just that they are representing themselves rather than The People.
