Worry----judges will rule "no way to tell said persons were there for the purpose of voting and not residence so case dismissed."
As the MI and GA state government "certify" decisions on their shoddy vote tabulations while Trump's legal staff is striving to bring out verifiable evidence of irregularities that could swing the election. Judges will say "no credible evidence of a pattern of deliberate systemic fraud that could change the outcome. Dismissed."
Hope I am worrying unnecessarily.
On the day they register to vote their intent is to live in Georgia for the rest of their lives.
In the day after the election, their intent is to move back to their home state.
The Rats went down to Georgia — they were lookin’ for a runoff to steal...
If some people don’t watch it we’ll wind up with “That’s the Night that the Lights Went Out in Georgia” instead.
They have to show a lease and a utility bill. Doubtful very many people would go that far.
2. Publicly asking others to break the law for the 'greater good' is noble in a Lib's mind.
3. Libs have no shame.
Laws need to be enforced or nothing will be recognized as law.

‘(10) The run-off primary, special primary runoff, run-off election, or special election runoff shall be a continuation of the primary, special primary, election, or special election for the particular office concerned. Only the electors who were duly registered to vote and not subsequently deemed disqualified to vote in the primary, special primary, election, or special election for candidates for that particular office shall be entitled to vote therein, and only those votes cast for the persons designated as candidates in such run-off primary, special primary runoff, run-off election, or special election runoff shall be counted in the tabulation and canvass of the votes cast. No elector shall vote in a run-off primary or special primary runoff in violation of Code Section 21-2-224.’”
“even the basic tenants of representative government”—I’m sure that the people that live in representative government will need to live elsewhere.
As a resident of Georgia, I am EXTREMELY concerned about voting in the Jan 5th election. They have the same dirty machines, the same dirty election officials, the same dirty system. I am not alone with my thoughts.

I am one of several people who posted this on several threads. I sent (polite) emails inquiring about this to the office of the Georgia Secretary of State and to conservative political commentator Erick Erickson, who used to be an election lawyer. I have not received a reply from either. Someone here suggested that a federal judge ruled several years ago that this provision cannot apply to federal elections. I have not been able to verify this.
Certifying state election is NOT the final step in deciding the winning candidate for president. That happens AFTER the electoral college convenes and votes 272+ VOTES for some candidate. That date is December 14th.
I lived in Georgia for four years, and went to three state conventions representing Columbus. I always wondered where the machine got their apparatchiks, as they won all the important votes 60-40. I know they are mostly from Atlanta, but still ...
Why isn’t Facebook and Twitter banning columnists who are advocating this?
You are definitely not alone. I do not trust our SOS to follow up with these voters to establish intent to live here permanently, especially given that he has disregarded the overwhelming evidence of fraud in the general.
Nothing is illegal if you don’t get in trouble for it.
Laws, shmaws.
Everyone in this thread needs to understand -- if the GOP wins these two seats in a trot with signature verification restored, the Election Night fraud/steal/calumny for SloJoe will be prima facie, "on its face". And then we will know that the US has problems that elections can no longer solve.
