From reporting on The Vietnam War to the 2020 election, media outlets have become consumed with promoting a specific narrative, even if it means censoring the truth.
There. Fixed it.
I love Sharyl but without reading her explanation, I’ll save us all time with a concise explanation:
> “How Traditional Media Abandoned Fact-Based Reporting”
How they did is also why they did it. How they did it was to take easy money from interested parties with an agenda than actually hit the pavement and do work finding stories and facts.
Nice find
I think it started with “advocacy journalism.”
The Treason Media is entirely about promoting The One Narrative Approved By Leftists.
How,
Because there is a Beast rising up right in front of us all and they are given over to it,
“Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.” Daniel 12:10
It’s not about the failure of journalism. It’s about a handful of major corporations dictating the message. Yes, it’s that simple.
Every media minion is replaceable — they’re not special. And we’re seeing the likes of Sharyl, Solomon, Ngo, Carter clearly demonstrating journalism. The craft isn’t dead — it’s overshadowed.
It’s not a cultural matter — the offending media punks are paid well to spew their hatred.
Disney, ATT, and Comcast have been the primary antagonists because they no longer benefit from the “traditional” economic models. Without expansion, they collapse. That’s the reality of the news media today — the “needs” of these malicious corporations.
Why all of a sudden we are supposed to honor journalists and even claim that theirs' is a "profession" or "calling" is beyond me.

She’s one of the few worthy of the term journalist working. It is a sad commentary on the state of our press.
Newscasters and on the scene tv news reporters have had their moments to inject their philosophies, their disdain of others, and their desire for whirled peaz, since the days when Peter Jennings and Tom Brokaw aired their masked hatred of the Vietnam War into everybody’s living room.
Not a whole lot to explain.....propagandizing for the Derps at the NYT or Washington Compost. Is simply better pay and less work. Journalism means going out and doing real work to find nuggets of truth and lies.
Reading or word processing a prepared fax from C_A every day is piece of cake...and the guaranteed annual 6 figures for playing the blind deaf and dumb monkey game is nothing to sneeze at.
I remember Bernard Goldberg’s book BIAS, which came out in 2001, and pointed out how the “homeless crisis” was all over the news whenever a Republican was president, but disappeared as soon as Clinton was elected.

Excellent reporting, thank you!
Love Sharyl. Tells it like it is, not how she wants it to be.
