I’ll leave it to the theologians to debate whether Pope Francis be an Antipope. (The question is important, but I don’t have the chops to tackle it, and it is perhaps unanswerable during a particular Pontiff’s tenure.) What I have no doubt about - based on objective data and my gut - is that Bergoglio does not believe in anything remotely resembling the Catholic faith. And that is...problematic.

I’ll go to my grave confident that Pope Francis will go down in history as the first, and only, Jesuit pope. He has definitely poisoned the well for other Jesuits. He’s not like the Jesuits I knew and admired from my 4 years at Gonzaga.
