People need to stop empowering the “shamers”. This has been going on for decades and needs to stop. All we have to do is laugh at them each time they try this nonsense - with at least a brief note about why their position is absurd. And repeat as often as necessary.
Double up on the number of lights and tell em to stick it where those lights don’t shine.

I’m not going to get all worked up because Fox News proves that there is at least one nut job in America.
There already was at least one case some time ago in which a school board sided with a family whose child wanted the American flag removed from the inside of an elementary school because it made the child and other undocumented alien students upset and nervous. Flag was taken out.
Well I’m a bad person, so if it was me I would put up a big sign with a big copy the BS letter on it and then my response which would be “Baby Jesus says go to hell, and take Joe with you”. Then I would add as many damn lights and decorations I could afford.
I overlooked the origin of some of this until I heard a reglious discussion recently. The militant atheists, agnostics and outright God haters want to put the religious believers in a position of being called intolerant and abusive toward the rights of the non-believers. Thus, closing of prayer gatherings, churches and synagogues and religious displays would be to protect the rights of the anti-God people.————
