A blockbuster snowstorm is expected to transform New York City into a winter wonderland on Wednesday — with as much as 30 inches expected in some areas, according to forecasts.
The Big Apple could get blanketed in as much as a foot of snow as the storm sweeps through the East Coast between Tuesday and Thursday.

The plan is to have as many people as possible in the cold climate areas do outdoor activities this winter.
Then they will catch the flu.
The “experts” will call it Covid and the hospitals get big bucks.

Back in the ‘90s there was a very talented talk-show host on WABC named Jay Diamond. One night he told a very funny story about watching (from his apartment window) a city snow-removal team accidentally bury one of their number under a dump-truck-full of snow, and how they frantically labored to rescue him, which effort was accomplished successfully.
OK got anywhere from 3” to 6”+ yesterday, depending on location. Beautiful sight. It’s almost entirely gone today.

Assuming that we’re gonna get it too I went to the supermarket today and now I’m fully stocked for a week.Hopefully the power doesn’t go out but in my 15 years here it’s only gone out once and that was only for about 10 minutes.
Blame it on Global Warming. Oops, I meant “climate change”.
As much as I hate winter I’d love to live in a place that gets one,and *only* one,blizzard a year.

I stream WOR in NYC on weekdays and the local weather forecast this morning was for 8-12 inches in the city and more north and west of the city.
How are they going to outfit the garbage trucks with plows if the city is broke?
They can get that many inches of snow but to stick and stay it takes the ground to be frozen which it is not in mid-December on the coast- NYC, Long Island. The amount will overwhelm at first but it will soon turn into a grey mess.
Last week’s nor’easter that was supposed to give us 8” of snow, gave us an inch, thank God.
Better them than us.
On the bright side, it should keep the rabble home in their basements since it now looks like the electoral college is NOT going the way they had hoped.
Just heard the WOR forecast...they say 10-18 inches,north and west of the city will get more.
