But if we "accept that and move on" will we ever have another fair election in this country again? How high will the margin of fraud which a Republican must win by be raised? To 20%, so a Republican must win the vote 60-40 to have a chance at winning the "ballot" counting? Or will it be higher? The number I usually used was 5%, so a vote of 52-48 could be overwhelmed by the counting, but 53-47 would have made it obvious. But with the push away from in-person voting there may be no margin which cannot be overcome by the ballot box stuffers and counters.

I wonder if the secret ballot might have to be eliminated so that signature and ID tracking can be maintained through the counting process to make it much more difficult to inject ballots at the end. That is how bank fraud is reduced, by having full traceability of every transaction forward and backward. It takes a lot of work to inject fake checks into the system, while it takes very little to inject fake ballots because no one is there to say "that is not how or when I voted".
