The failed state of California is bleeding enough population to lose a House seat and an electoral vote.
There are only so many seats in the U.S. House of Representatives and so many electoral votes, and those are earned based on your specific state’s proportion of the population when compared to the rest of the country

That's what makes me cringe when I read about this, or about New Yorker feeling to Florida. These dumbasses are likely to turn red states to purple or blue.
They’ll still vote Dem wherever they end up and make up for it.

Hopefully determined after excluding illegal aliens from the calculations.
I once heard, that if illegals were excluded from apportionment for Congress, that California could lose 4 or 5 house seats, out of the 53 current seats Calif. has in the House.
They’ll end up being a plague of locusts, bringing with them the same failed politics are ruining California.
Some do some don’t, but I think you will find that many (say 65%) of those that move to a non-adjacent state will vote more conservatively.
As if that is a bad thing.
Just offset the loss with more illiterate illegals. What are the chances that they WON’T be counted for apportionment (today’s SCOTUS ruling notwithstanding)?
Too bad they can’t count illegal aliens, they’d own the House!...
I’d much rather all those people stay I. California and let that state continue to be awful rather than going to other states and bring their idiotic ideas with them.

and just like illegals, they go to a red state and destroy it. The first thing they say once they go a to a red city is “ow wow, guns. But you know what? We need a gay parade!”
Same with New York State and other far left, outlaw Dem states.

Nope. They are not going to vote for the same crazy harsh lockdown policies that they fled from.
They will make the rest of California more blue, but that won't matter when they have less electoral votes.
