WTF ever
Seems to be their stock answer these days.
When will the loss of congressional seats become effective??? Pelosi’s margin could be entirely wiped out. Yay. Does anyone understand “next steps” for when this will take place?
CYA. Disgusting cowards. If they don’t want to hear a case they just invent “lack of standing” or some other action to punt responsibility. Weasels. They leave to door open for more lawsuits and judge shopping. A sort of job corp for attorneys.
I still say it should be more than one seat we lose, if we
didn’t count ANY illegal aliens.
There seem to be unusual legal judgements being made.
Remember the court decision on asking about citizenship on the census, was based on some issues relating to procedures followed, and not the merits of the case?
Remember the court decision preventing Trump from doing away with the DACA program, also was based on some technical procedures, and not a ruling on the constitutional issues with DACA?
And recent cases relating to the election have sidestepped the core issues, but instead have said that plaintiffs lacked standing to file a lawsuit.
What was the vote count?!?
Slimy yellow bastards...
I’d sure like to be able to refuse to work any time I choose and still draw a large salary.
Doesn’t matter when voting is corrupted. When there are more votes than voters and voters that vote in multiple places, the compact is broken.
When does the apportionment actually occur? If is done in after the inauguration, and Biden is sworn in, could Biden simply reverse the policy?
This Supreme Court is about as disgusting as that of Oliver Wendell Holmes, who’s Court through the 1927 Buck vs Bell decision allowed forced sterilization.
Question to FReepers about Just the News: Do you feel their habit of taking the opening graphic and putting it, reduced, over the article text as you scroll down adds anything to your visit?
Personally, I find it very obtrusive and feel it adds nothing of value to my visit.
A Biden administration will withdraw the case and allow the appeals ruling to stand.
If I remember correctly, it is about a loss of 5 for CA.
