“some young people with no comorbidity get very ill and die from this disease. More than you would think’
Some don’t think, they are convinced you are either to old, to fat, or you just deserve to die...
“ Some don’t think, they are convinced you are either to old, to fat, or you just deserve to die.. “
somwhere around 1.8 percent of people with Wuhan disease die
For the state of Louisiana, here are the fatalities by Underlying Conditions (Last updated 12/23/2020)
Asthma-4.09%
Cancer-8.71%
Cardiac Disease-26.54%
Chronic Kidney Disease-22.22%
Congestive Heart Failure-16.8%
Diabetes-37.29%
Hypertension-63.99%
Neurological-27.38%
Obesity-20.75%
Pulmonary-14.53%
None-4.2%
I don't have the LA fatality data by age - though the median age in that state is 77. Nationally, 15.1% of all cases but 2.9% of all COVID19 fatalities were from people between 40-49 years of age, for a Case Fatality Rate of 0.32% for that lot vs 1.66% for the US.
So, is it impossible for the young to die from this bug? Heck no. Is there NEVER any underlying condition? Nope.
But data are data and facts are facts, and a relatively small proportion of young people die from this thing AND an almost equally small fraction of people die without an underlying condition.
