I’m calling this all BS. My buddy is a doc in Ventura.
Maybe when they say ‘little chance of survival’....they actually mean plain ole fashion ‘dead’? In that case, yeah....the coroner vehicle ought to be used.
How can they have shortages when they’ve been saying for months there’s a surge or there’s going to be etc....
They’re modeling the CCCP’s Black Maria’s? I’m sure there are some Russian immigrants who remember them, mainly hauled to prison but also used ambulances to transport to the mental wards and disappeared.
“If the patient is declared dead at the scene or if no pulse can be restored, paramedics will no longer transport the body to the hospital.”
He’s dead, Jim!
Sounds like Italy
these people are morons
they could easily put people on oxygen concentrator units
Aren’t the hospitals always at near capacity during the Winter months? And most deaths occur in Jan-Feb?
Move all those illegal aliens out of the hospitals and there’ll be room enough for the American citizens...
Sounds fair to me!
Seriously: How does this differ from the previous policy? Were dead patients previously transported to the hospital?! This excerpt seems to imply that!
Regards,
What’s next, just toss them off into the weeds and drive off?
Ghouls.
Does anyone have a reputable news source for this story?
New York scraps do-not-resuscitate order during coronavirus pandemic
Ah, what am I saying? When you’re having a heart attack, it’s far more important to have a warm fuzzy because you turned your country over to invaders than it is to receive treatment and survive. Silly me.
This is Marxist euthanasia.

Select Los Angeles County and scroll to hospital data.
They’ve got hundreds of ICU beds available at the moment.
I think, most certainly, SoCal should stop taking migrants from south of the border and giving them treatment over citizens if they want to keep the ICU open.
Plus, couldn’t other parts of the state “donate” O2? Surely the entire state isn’t dry of oxygen tanks.
What is wrong with people? Seriously. At this point, it’s rudimentary math.
What a crock...
Most all the border town hospitals are full. It isn’t from USA side but Mexico.
I hear the lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas has no hospital beds either.
The biggest problem for hospitals and ems isn’t calling it in the field for dying patients. It’s the idiots who call 911 as soon as they *think* they might have covid. These are same people who treat the hospital ed as their primary care doctor - all of them on state medicaid with free rides to the hospital. Ambulance crews are still de-contaminating their ambulances after these chicken littles have already been booted from the ED.
