Cruz-led group to object to certification of election results in at least one state, push electoral commission

EXCLUSIVE: The group of Senate Republicans led by Ted Cruz will object to the certification of presidential election results in at least one state on Jan. 6, with a source telling Fox News that it is not a question of "if" the senators will object, but one of "which" states, and "how many."

"It’s not a question of if objections to disputed states’ electors will be raised, it’s a question of which and how many," the source told Fox News Monday.

"The group is committed to pushing the electoral commission here to get the facts," the source said.

Another GOP aide told Fox News that the group led by Cruz continued to discuss their plans on a call this evening, but no decisions have yet been made.

Cruz on Saturday assembled a group of 11 Republican senators—Sens. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin; James Lankford of Oklahoma; Steve Daines of Montana; John Kennedy of Louisiana; Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, and Mike Braun of Indiana; as well as Sens.-elect Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming; Roger Marshall of Kansas; Bill Hagerty of Tennessee, and Tommy Tuberville of Alabama— announcing that they would object to the certification of the Electoral College results unless there was an emergency 10-day audit of the results by an electoral commission.

Republican members of Congress plan to object President-Elect Biden because of their deeply held belief that those states conducted elections plagued by statewide, systemic fraud and abuse that leaves absolutely no way for this chamber or our constituents to trust the validity of their elections. Such allegations, if true, raise significant doubts about the elections of at least some of the members of the U.S. House of Representatives.

After all, those representatives were elected through the very same systems, with the same ballot procedures, with the same signature validations, with the same broadly applied decisions of executive and judicial branch officials

It would confound basic human reason if the presidential results were to face objection while the congressional results from the same election escaped without public scrutiny.

Looking at this commission idea...so what is laying there at the end?

At least three nations and maybe twenty internationalists/business concerns who brought money or ‘help’ to Biden winning...how will you punish them or correct the matter?

At least six states that violated their own laws and standards. How will you punish them or correct the matter?

At least five-million votes or voters that are non-existent? How will you punish them or correct the matter?

A computer system that no western nation will buy into, except the US. How will you punish or correct on this matter?

More registered voters in 300-plus counties, than you have counted via the Census? How will you punish or correct on this matter?

The suggestion that various House member/Senators might have gotten serious financial help from China?

I don’t see anything corrected or resolved by mid-terms (2022), and there’s virtually no reason to have another Presidential election in 2024 because the system is so corrupted.

These quaint tactics of the high school debate team will be remembered by no one.

Where are the other Senators? What happened to Tom Cotton and John Boozman as they are powerful Senators????? Even Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas has sided with the Dems to accept the corrupt election of 2020. Have they received Chicom political support?

Mo Brooks: Still Only One Republican Senator, Josh Hawley, Formally Supporting Electoral Challenge – Warns Ted Cruz is Pulling A Political Stunt

Posted on  by Sundance

Representative Mo Brooks appears on Newsmax to discuss the 2020 election overall and specifically in Georgia.  Mr Brooks reminds the audience that only one senator, Josh Hawley, has actually and formally stated his intent to challenge the electoral certification; and that challenge only pertains to Pennsylvania.

Brooks states Ted Cruz has threatened to assemble and join with a coalition of Senators for additional states, but Cruz has defined his effort as contingent upon approval of the audit.

Rep Mo Brooks On Newsmax: Still, Hawley The Only Senator To Challenge, And Only PA.

I suspect Mo Brooks is correct and the Ted Cruz play is optics only.  Cruz will propose a commission following Senator Hawley’s objection, that proposal will be voted down by a simple majority in the senate on Wednesday and that’s that.  Cruz is optics only.

It is troublesome that no other senators are willing to contest a state certification other than Josh Hawley objecting to Pennsylvania.

Representative Mo Brooks also appeared on Lou Dobbs tonight. (see below)

“Roger Marshall of Kansas” Senator elect! Good deal!
Something else I can use in my emails to KS Senator Moran urging him to reject the fraud states.

Since Several state Legislatures are considering decertifiying and recertifing electors this will provide the additional time needed for them to look at issues of Fraud.

It will also push the count closer to January 20s which makes it more likely that any failure to certify will result in faster path to a Contested election resolved by Congress (1 vote per state). (I think this is the reason it is being proposed.)

After all, those representatives were elected through the very same systems,

As were the Governors who might be asked to cast the default slates of Electors in case of non-resolved objection. The Governors and Legislators elected by the same machines should be recused. Whether it is just the 6 battleground states, or all 37 states that are affected remains undetermined.
