Iraqi Intel notified our government recently of a false flag attack on January 5th or 6th, IIRC, to be blamed on Iran and goad Trump into a war with Iran.
The deep state is vehemently opposed to war with Iran, it has repeatedly demonstrated that it is unwilling to hold Iran accountable for any Iranian or Iran-backed act of terrorism, frees up millions of dollars for Iran, supports Hamas along with Iran, undermines Iranian opposition, and when possible, it closes down or refuses to follow through with investigations of Iranian suspects and acts of terrorism whenever possible, so as to prevent any public outrage about murders committed by Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, etc., that might pressure elected officials to do something about it. It most certainly wants to handle Iran with kid gloves, with sanctions here and there just for show, in the hope that Iran’s future acts of terrorism will at most only take out expendables, such as contractors, sailors, marines, Iranian dissidents, Kenyan bystanders, human rights activists, protesters, and random powdery letter recipients, rather than essential players such as our politicians and DC bureaucrats. So long as our officials feel safe personally, and so long as China is friend of both Iran’s mullahs and our politician’s campaigns, it can do anything it wants.

Every once in a while an ignorant pilot flies in to capital airspace not knowing the space is off limits.
Today especially may be a poor time to unknowingly fly around the capital.
