Evangelist Franklin Graham compared 10 members of the GOP to Judas Iscariot on Thursday after they voted to approve President Donald Trump's second impeachment.
"...the House Democrats impeached him because they hate him and want to do as much damage as they can," Graham wrote. "And these ten, from [Trump's] own party, joined in the feeding frenzy. It makes you wonder what the thirty pieces of silver were that [Democratic House] Speaker [Nancy] Pelosi promised for this betrayal."

That is beyond absurd. To compare an entrepreneur turned politician to our Lord and Savior borders on sacrilege, but since it comes from an evangelical protestant, I am not surprised. At all.
PLEASE tell me where any judgment of Mr. Graham is in that statement. I merely pointed out the utter absurdity of the statement. Adding in the likely source of the level of absurdity is NOT an accusation, just a statement of what is obvious to any neutral observer.

The real Jezebel is also in view here. She was a daughter of the King of Phonecia, a pagan princess best known for her advice to her Israelite husband, King Ahab, on how to obtain a vineyard he wanted.
Jezebel brought trumped-up charges against the vineyard’s owner, hired witnesses to bear false testimony, and had him convicted and executed. Then she confiscated the vineyard in the name of the King (1 Kings 21:1-16).
Centuries later, the Catholic Church would obtain much of its wealth in the same way. Fortunes beyond measure were gained during these inquisitions.

Jezebel’s Plot
11 So the men of his city, the elders and the nobles who lived in his city, did just as Jezebel had sent word to them, just as it was written in the letters which she had sent them.
12 They proclaimed a fast, and seated Naboth at the head of the people.
13 Then the two worthless men came in and sat opposite him; and the worthless men testified against him, against Naboth, before the people, saying, “Naboth [i]cursed God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him [j]to death with stones.
14 Then they sent word to Jezebel, saying, “Naboth has been stoned and is dead.”
15 And when Jezebel heard that Naboth had been stoned and was dead, Jezebel said to Ahab, “Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth, the Jezreelite, which he refused to give you for money; for Naboth is not alive, but dead.”
16 When Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, Ahab got up to go down to the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, to take possession of it.
So what I am really trying to get at, is that we should not be looking to churches or nations or even Presidents, but to Jesus only.
It is through his Grace that we our saved when we accept that(repent) he died in our place. It is personal.
