He’s not comparing Trump to Christ, he’s comparing these traitors to Judas. These people betrayed 70 million patriots. They pretended to be patriots and turned out to be traitors.

He’s not comparing Trump to Jesus. “Thirty pieces of silver” a very common literary metaphor for the rewards of betrayal and probably has been ever since the words were first written.
Speaking of which, what exactly did they get out of it? Personally I just think it was just ego gratification. They just wanted that McCain “Maverick” glow of basking in media and Dem approval and showing they weren’t anything like those tacky deplorables.
But they’ll soon find out that nobody loves a traitor. They’ve given up their honor and the Dems will have no need of or use for them now. When Judas realized what he’d done and tried to give back the money, the chief priests just shrugged and said “what is that to us?”. They should expect the same.
The “impeachment” was nothing but legislative masturbation.
